This workshop will discuss arguments and tactics to effectively use C.F.R. 404.1520c and 416.920c “How we consider and articulate medical opinions and prior administrative medical findings for claims filed on or after March
27, 2017” to neutralize unfavorable medical opinions by Social Security doctors.
Luis Gracia - is a partner in the Law Firm of Rue & Ziffra. Mr. Gracia obtained his law degree in 1998 from Texas Southern University in Houston. He focuses his practice on Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation, as well as personal injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Gracia is board certified in Social Security Disability law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is that publication’s highest rating for professional excellence in legal ability and ethical standards. He is a sustaining member of NOSSCR and a past speaker at NOSSCR Conferences. Mr. Gracia has also been a frequent speaker on the subject of cross-examination of Medical Experts at social security hearings. He is admitted to practice in the US District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida as well as the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
