This workshop will introduce attendees to filing a civil action in district court to see review of a final decision of the Commissioner. Emphasis will be on the process and procedure with brief discussion of case and issue selection.

Charles Martin - graduated from Mercer Law School in 1977, and practices with Martin and Jones in Decatur, Georgia. He has represented over 5,000 claimants in Social Security hearings, and has briefed over 1000 cases in district court and over 100 cases in circuit courts. Now he concentrates his practice on AC and court briefs. He is a past president of NOSSCR, and was awarded its Eileen P. Sweeney Distinguished Service Award in 2008. He is also the author of the Ombudsman law office management software.
