The workshop will explain cross-examination techniques to turn unfavorable ME testimony into positive opinions that will lead to a winning outcome. Specifically, the presentation will describe a detailed cross-examination method of using available Social Security Rulings and evidence to lead an unfavorable medical expert into giving testimony that can end up proving the claimant’s case and disability arguments.

Luis R. Gracia - is a partner in the Law Firm of Rue & Ziffra. Mr. Gracia obtained his law degree in 1998 from Texas Southern University in Houston. Mr. Gracia focuses his practice on Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation, as well as personal injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Gracia is board certified in Social Security Disability law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a sustaining member of NOSSCR and a past speaker at NOSSCR’s Biannual Conference. Mr. Gracia is admitted to practice in the US District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida as well as the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
