Thomas Krause - first worked with disability claimants as a staff attorney for Iowa Legal Aid from 1982 to 1997. From 1997 to 2002, he worked for Schott Mauss & Associates in Des Moines, representing Social Security/SSI claimants at all levels within SSA and in federal court. From 2002 to May 2018, Mr. Krause was of counsel at Schott Mauss and maintained his own practice that focused on district court appeals of disability claims. He was lead counsel in several class action lawsuits against SSA and the Iowa and Nebraska DDSs. Since May 2018, Mr. Krause has been with SMRLS in Winona, Minnesota.
